Audience measurement on product pages

Updated on 7 November 2026

When you open a product page of the TigerTag+ catalogue, tigersystem.io counts one view of that product, so that brands can see where their products draw interest. This count uses no cookie and does not ask for your consent: it is designed to meet the conditions the CNIL (the French data protection authority) sets for audience measurement exempt from consent.

What is counted

  • The product viewed and the language of the page.
  • The country, region and city, worked out from your connection by our host, and never more precise than the city.
  • The domain of the site you came from (for example google.com), never the full address of the page.
  • The type of device: mobile, tablet or computer.

What is never collected

  • Your IP address: our host uses it for a moment to find the city, then it is neither stored nor passed on.
  • No cookie, and no identifier that could follow you from one site to another.
  • No campaign tags (UTM), and no location more precise than the city.
  • Nothing from your TigerSystem account.

How it works

  • One view per product and per tab: the tab keeps the note in its sessionStorage, which is erased when you close it.
  • Robots and automated browsers are not counted.
  • Views go to the TigerTag server, hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt). Individual views are kept for at most 25 months. After that, only anonymous aggregated statistics remain (for example: number of views per month, product and country), which can no longer be linked to any visit or visitor.
  • Brands have no access to individual views. Any statistics shown to them are aggregated (counts rounded to the nearest ten), so that no visitor can be singled out.

Opt out of being counted

One click and this browser no longer counts any view. Your choice is kept in this browser (localStorage): if you clear the site's data or switch browsers, set it again here.
